About US

OKH Ballet Centre is the 11st Dance Shop in Singapore!

Established in 1974, it is owned by a family of Dancers , run by Dancers and Dance Enthusiasts.

Our mission at OKH is "to Encourage, Serve and Promote Dance and Dancers"

We have been in wholesaling and retailing to Dance Teachers and Dance Schools in Singapore as well as the region. Since 1992, we have been the Authorised Dealer of The Royal Academy of Dance and have been actively promoting and supporting Dance Students under the Syllabi in the form of Scholarships and Dance Competitions. We have been the Sponsor of The Royal Academy of Dance Summer School since 1994 and to date, we have sent Scholarship winners to London, Australia and Hong Kong.

In 1998, we were the Co Sponsor for the prestigious "Bona Voluntatis Gala".

Besides retailing and sponsorship, OKH's director, Rosalind Ong is actively involved in the local dance performance scene. She has choreographed and had her Dancers participatied in Chingay, Arts Festival Fringes, Singapore Dance Festival, NKF Show, Women's Day Celebration in Ngee Ann City and Suntec City, launch of the PAssion Card, Singapore Youth Festival and several other performances held at Victoria Theatre.

Since 2005, OKH had the honour of being Organiser of The Australian Teachers' of Dance Syllabi (ATOD) for Singapore and the region. This is the first time this popular and well recommended Syllabi is introduced to the region.

The first Teachers' Seminar was organised in November 2004 and was well attended by both local and overseas Teachers. The Jazz Seminar was well received and several teachers are looking to teaching the syllabi which is well established in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and China.

OKH is actively involved in the teaching of the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabi, besides promoting and teaching of ATOD Syllabi. We conduct ballet lessons at community clubs, private dance studios as well as academic schools.

OKH Ballet is a household name amongst Dance Teachers, Students and Enthusiasts both in Singapore as well as the neighbouring countries.
